How to Make Creamy Shrimp Scampi
This one pan wonder comes together and gets supper on the table in less than 30 minutes!

Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

Smash and chop the garlic into fine pieces.

Add it to the butter and cook for one minute.

Add in the shrimp and arrange in a single layer. Cook just until it starts to turn pink, turning often for even cooking.

Add in the lemon juice.

And the white wine vinegar. Bring back to a simmer.

Stir in the prepared cooked spaghetti squash or pasta.

Add in the parmesan cheese.

And the heavy cream. Allow to cook a minute or two more and remove from the heat.

Season with salt to taste and serve over more prepared pasta.

Garnish with the dried or fresh herb of your choice and enjoy!

Creamy Shrimp Scampi Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 pound shrimp peeled, deveined, tails off
- 2 Tbsps butter
- 4 garlic cloves grated or chopped fine
- 1/2 cup white wine vinegar
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese finely grated
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 pound spaghetti squash cooked
Instructions
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.2 Tbsps butter
- Add in garlic and cook for one minute. Add in shrimp and cook just until pink turning to make sure they get done all of the way through.4 garlic cloves, 1 pound shrimp
- Add in lemon juice and vinegar, cook a minute more. Add in cooked spaghetti squash, parmesan cheese and heavy cream. Stir to combine. Allow to come to a simmer and cook for a minute or two more. Remove from heat.1/2 cup white wine vinegar, 1/4 cup lemon juice, 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, 1/2 cup heavy cream, 1 pound spaghetti squash
- Season with salt to taste and garnish with your favorite fresh herb. Serve over more cooked spaghetti squash.1/4 tsp salt

🍴 PRO TIP!
Some recipes call for a dry white cooking wine. It is fine to use in place of the vinegar or if you are not a fan of wine or vinegar, using chicken broth works great too as a substitution.
🗹 RECIPE FAQ’S
Here, I used cooked SPAGHETTI SQUASH. Fettuccine or even angel hair pasta for a traditional pasta work great too.
Keeping the heat low while adding the vinegar and lemon juice all while stirring or whisking constantly will help keep this from happening.
Yes! Be sure to thaw them well and make sure they are completely dry to avoid adding any water to the dish.
