Homemade Tortilla Strips
I love little touches. Garnishes for food that make it all the more appealing and attractive to the taste buds. I also love chips. Yep. Chips and salsa, chips and dip, I love it all. Carbs are my weakness. We frequently have tortillas at our house to use in place of bread for things like sandwiches or small pizzas. When I only have a couple left, I love to make these strips to have on hand for soup, chili and just plain old snacking!
I love to make a big old batch of Chicken Tortilla Soup. When I do, I also love having these to garnish it with. They also put the Tortilla in Chicken Tortilla Soup!

I love to make these when I have just a few tortillas left. We keep them on hand for snacks and to have with tacos and soups. One of my favorite things is Taco salad like THIS ONE and these strips are a great addition to any Taco Tuesday!
