Homemade Tortilla Strips

I love little touches. Garnishes for food that make it all the more appealing and attractive to the taste buds. I also love chips. Yep. Chips and salsa, chips and dip, I love it all.

Carbs are my weakness. We frequently have tortillas at our house to use in place of bread for things like sandwiches or small pizzas. When I only have a couple left, I love to make these strips to have on hand for soup, chili and just plain old snacking!

I love to make a big old batch of Chicken Tortilla Soup. When I do, I also love having these to garnish it with. They also put the Tortilla in Chicken Tortilla Soup!
