Crock Pot Chicken Parmesan

Getting supper on the table can be a real challenge. Especially if you are like me and commute to work. Some nights I don’t get home until after 6pm. If I cook a full meal, we may not eat until after 8 o’clock.

This troubles me. In my perfect world, we would be done eating and cleaning up before 7pm. In reality, that just seldom happens.

Making this Chicken Parm in the crock pot sure can help with all of that. Its one thing to do soups, roasts or stews in the crock pot. It is super for that.

This recipe shows the versatility of the slow cooker and what it is capable of. And, it allows me to cook while I am at work and us eat at a decent hour.

That makes my Momma heart happy.

How to make Crock Pot Chicken Parmesan

I love dump and go crock pot recipes.

This one is a little more in depth than that. But it is totally worth it. A little extra work really shines through in this recipe.

You can also make this completely over the top and show how fancy a meal it really is by adding this BASIL PESTO right on top when you serve it.

It is delicious and really adds to the chicken parm.

While it may take a little longer to prep, it certainly shows out when served for supper.

We like jarred marinara sauce but if you wanted to get a little fancy, you can use our recipe to make HOMEMADE MARINARA sauce as well.

Tips and Tricks

Can I make more or less of this?

All of our recipes are easily doubled or even halved. So yes, you can make more or less of this to accommodate your needs.

Can I do this in my oven?

Yes, you can prep the same way and cook in a casserole dish at 350 for about 30 minutes. Or in the air fryer at 300 degrees for 20-25 minutes, turning half way through. Just make sure the internal temperature of the chicken is 165 degrees.

How to store and for how long?

Once this comes to room temperature, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week. This can also be frozen for up to a month. Allow to thaw and reheat in the oven on low heat.

Crock Pot Chicken Parmesan

This is a thing of beauty. Not a traditional way of making Chicken Parm but it certainly does the trick.
