Quick and Easy Candied Pecans are a special occasion treat that you can make any time. This bite size confection is made with pantry staple ingredients and are ready to devour in about 30 minutes.

Pure Candied Pecan Perfection
You know, sometimes, simple is just better. I can think of times I have eaten something delicious, gotten the recipe and used every pot in my kitchen to replicate it. It was work! Lots of times, it is so worth it but often times, we miss the very thing that is simple and just as effective. How to Make Them

~Ingredients
- 1 cup raw pecan halves
- ¼ cup Sugar
- 1 & ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon egg whites
- ½ teaspoon vanilla
~Method
- . Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Mix both sugars and cinnamon in a bowl.
- In a separate bowl, whisk egg whites and vanilla until frothy.
- Add pecans to egg whites and stir to coat.
- Pour pecans into sugar mixture and stir to coat.
- Spread in a single layer on a greased sheet pan.
- Bake 15 minutes and stir. Bake an additional 15 minutes, cool and enjoy!
Tips and Tricks
You sure can! Prep them the same way and cook at 300 degrees for 15-20 minutes, stirring or shaking at 5 minute intervals.
Nope, Pralines are their own glorious thing. Normally coated in a thick caramel type candy. They are chewy in texture and these are more crisp and hard candy texture than their Louisiana native cousin!
More than likely they didn't cook long enough. The 30 minute cook time (traditional, 15-20 for air fryer) should be sufficient. However, if you find they are still sticky or soft, cook them a little more, watching closely in 5 minute intervals until they crisp up. Also, make sure your ingredients are not old and are good and fresh!
