Tips and Tricks

Can I use regular brown sugar?

Of course. Please not the nutritional values will not be the same. Any brown sugar will give you the caramelization in a short amount of time. White sugars typically will not so be sure you use brown sugars here.

Can I do this in the air fryer?

Yes! I would cook them at about 425 in the air fryer for probably half of the time. Just stay with it and keep and eye on it. You don’t want the sugars to burn and that can happen quickly.

Will this work good for other fruit?

Yes. I always encourage you to get creative. Our recipes are merely a jumping off point to get your wheels turning on how you can do the same with other ingredients.
