Bacon Wrapped Onion Rings
Bacon Wrapped Onion Rings are the perfect appetizer. Spicy red onions wrapped in smoky bacon cooked to perfection in the oven. Best served with some smoky BBQ sauce!
Easy Onion Rings No Batter Required!
I love making good food better! Onion Rings are a guilty pleasure of mine. I love eating them but making them can be pretty messy. It is a labor of love to make a good onion ring. I am here to tell you though, you can take beautiful slices of Red onions and make them into something glorious. You only need to know three words.
WRAP IN BACON.
Yep, two wonderful things come together to make a bombshell of an appetizer. The bacon cooks up nice and crispy around the spicy onion. I tell you what, it is truly a beautiful thing. We love reinventing good things, take for instance, these CORNBREAD DRESSING FRITTERS, one bite and you are hooked!

Tips and Tricks
- No Limit – The recipe says 12 of everything but this recipe is easily modified to make MORE! Trust me, you will probably need MORE!
- Baking Rack – If you don’t have one, simply spray a little cooking spray on your sheet pan. Just know your clean up will be easier if you invest in a sheet pan that has a baking rack. They are relatively inexpensive. You can find a great one at the bottom of this post. Having these on the rack really helps with even cooking and faster clean up.
- Customize – Like many of our other recipes, there is no end to what you can do with this recipe. Sprinkle with brown sugar for a candied effect. Marinate your bacon in Italian dressing to change the whole flavor. Get funky with it! Try it and let us know what you did!
