You know, nachos may be the perfect food. You can add almost any of your favorite foods to a pan of chips and have a meal that needs no utensils! I call that a WIN!

Nachos are a very popular tailgating food. You can do the traditional nachos, OR you can try this Italian version. It will knock you down, its soooo good!

Packed with cheese, peppers, onions, black olives, chicken and pepperoni, you won’t miss traditional nachos after having these. The secret to these is Alfredo sauce. Yep, jarred Alfredo does the trick to giving these nachos a sweet, smoky Italian flavor.

~ Ingredients ~

  • 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes

  • 1/2 cup sliced black olives

  • 1/4 cup chopped green onion

  • 1/4 cup sliced pepperoncini peppers

  • 1 cup chopped pepperoni sausage

  • 1/2 cup Alfredo sauce

  • 4 cups nacho chips

  • parsley for garnish

~ Method ~

  1. Preheat broiler to medium high heat. On a sheet pan, layer nacho chips in a single layer. Drizzle Alfredo sauce over all chips. Layer Chicken, pepperoni, cheese, tomatoes, olives, peppers and top with more pepperoni if desired.

  2. Place under broiler for 5 minutes until cheese is melted and slightly browned. Garnish with parsley. Serve and enjoy!
