Bacon Ranch Pasta is a creamy, savory marriage of all things good but maybe not so good FOR you! Our little family really loves all things ranch so this recipe was a must for us.
It is no secret that Bacon and Ranch go together like peas and carrots. Wait! Guess what? There ARE peas and carrots in this wonderful dish too!

Made with simple ingredients, this pasta is a real meal. When life gets busy this is an easy lunch or supper to throw together that just gets better the longer it sits.

How to Make it
~ Ingredients ~
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 12 oz bow tie pasta, cooked and drained
- 1 oz of Ranch dry dip seasoning mix
- 16 oz sour cream
- 1/3 cup Duke’s Mayo
- 16 oz cheddar cheese cubes
- 8 pieces bacon, cooked, drained and chopped
- 10 oz bag of frozen peas, corn and carrots
~ Method ~
Prepare frozen vegetables as per package directions, drain and cool. Boil Pasta according to package directions with salt in the water, drain and rinse to stop cooking. Cook and drain bacon, set aside too cool. When cooled, chop bacon.
Mix Ranch, mayo and sour cream. Fold in pasta and gently mix well. Add cheese, veggies and bacon. Add pepper and more salt if needed.

How to Serve and Store
There are a couple of choices here, this pasta salad can be served right away or made ahead of time and kept in the fridge. It will keep in there in the refrigerator for up to a week. Either way, it makes a hearty, filling meal.
TIPS AND TRICKS
Yes! There is no limit to the substitutions one can make on this recipe. The pasta is just the tip of the iceberg. Seasonings, sausage, etc. can all be substituted to make a really great one pan meal.
Yes! Adding more leafy greens really makes this more of a healthy dish than without. Just like the substitutions mentioned above, additions are also welcome to make this your own family favorite recipe.
If you wanted a more dense texture, baking is the answer. You can bake uncovered at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes to get that result. The stove top method gives you more of a creamy dish. So depending on what you are looking for will determine how much more or less you cook it!
Make sure you don’t over cook or under cook the pasta. Make sure to add the dressing while the pasta is still somewhat warm. If it has cooled, or you are making the pasta ahead of time, add a little olive oil to loosen or prevent the pasta from sticking.
