Sugar Free BBQ Rub is a sweet little six ingredient fix for all of your BBQ needs. We let the protein shine without adding sugar. Just delicious and naturally sweet dry flavor components.
It is no secret that BBQ is King in the South. From one region to the next you can find each one has their own signature style and flavor. We love showing you how to prepare your very own right at home
Not too long ago, we shared our recipe for traditional SMOKED BOSTON BUTT with its own traditional methods as well as a delicious rub option that does include brown sugar. While there is absolutely nothing wrong with that recipe, we love showing how you can do things a tad bit healthier.

With 6 ingredients, this is just as easy as it is delicious. You can use it on any type of protein too. We use it often on chicken, fish, beef as well as pork.

Instructions
Combine and Mix! There really isn’t that much to it. Massage it well on your preferred protein and allow to sit for at least one hour. If you wanted to let it marinate overnight, that is even better. Place in a zip top bag and refrigerate.
Place all spices in a bowl or jar with a lid.
Mix and sprinkle on protein
Massage into protein and allow to marinate for at least one hour.
Storage
I like to mix this up and keep it in a jar. I will double or triple the recipe so I can have it on hand whenever I need it.
