Biscuit Croutons are perfect little bites to add to a salad. We take leftover biscuits and reinvent them into something magnificent. Just a few ingredients to take something great and make it better!

Homemade Biscuits Reinvented
We love to take leftovers and reinvent them. Just like with our Cornbread Dressing Fritters. Now, it might not be common to have many leftovers in your house, but here at The Buttered Home, it is. One thing I hate more than doing dishes is food waste. Out of the four of us, there are only two that will eat leftovers. Therefore, I tend to try to find ways to re make leftovers into something special and new.
Recently, I made a big old batch of Homemade biscuits. Now Biscuits are something that is not always great leftover more than just one day. So I got to thinking, how can I use these? It was simple really, just take them and use them just like you do with other breads that have long served their purpose. Make croutons!

Helpful tips
Can I use another kind of bread?
When making homemade croutons, you are not limited to just using biscuits. Use any bread that may be on the verge of being stale. That is the beauty of recipes like this one, you can modify it to fit any need.
I am crushing my bread when cutting, what am I doing wrong?
Use a good bread knife when cutting your pieces. This will insure clean cuts and prevent tearing. You can find a link to purchase a good bread knife at the bottom of this post.
Does the Salt really matter?
Let's talk salt. You will often see that I use only sea salt. To me, sea salt has the best flavor and using a coarse milled sea salt is even better. When cooking or garnishing dishes, coarse sea salt is my favorite!
