Grilled Hawaiian Bacon and Chicken

Ingredients

  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup prepared mustard
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken tenderloins
  • 12 ounces package of bacon one slice per tenderloin
  • 1/2 to 1 teaspoon southern flavor charbroil seasoning

Instructions

  • Mix first 5 ingredients in a small bowl. Reserve about 1/4 cup for basting in a separate bowl.
    salt and pepper, 1/2 cup pineapple juice, 1/2 cup orange juice, 1/4 cup prepared mustard, 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • Wrap chicken tenderloins with a slice of bacon and secure with toothpicks. Sprinkle on the Southern Flavor Seasoning.Place in a large baking dish and pour marinade on top. Cover with plastic wrap and marinate in the refrigerator 2-6 hours.
    2 pounds boneless, 12 ounces package of bacon, 1/2 to 1 teaspoon southern flavor charbroil seasoning
  • After marinating, grill on a grill until chicken reaches 165 degrees F OR brown in a grill pan sprayed with cooking spray, 2-3 minutes per side, basing with reserved marinade while cooking. Transfer to a baking sheet.
  • Bake in a 350 degree F oven for 25-3o minutes. Again cooking until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F. Allow to rest for 5-10 minutes, remove toothpicks and enjoy!
