Easy Microwave Fudge

Ingredients

  • 2.5 cups semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 14 ounce can of sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • pecans Optional, whole or chopped

Instructions

  • In a large, Microwave safe bowl, combine chocolate chips, butter and sweetened condensed milk. Mix well. Microwave on high for 2 minutes. Carefully remove and stir.
    2.5 cups semi sweet chocolate chips, 2 tablespoons butter, 14 ounce can of sweetened condensed milk
  • Place back in microwave and heat in 30 second increments stirring after each one, until all is melted and smooth. DO NOT OVERHEAT. This process usually only takes one or two increments, depending on wattage of microwave.
  • Add vanilla, salt and nuts if using and spread into a greased or lined with parchment 8X11 dish. Spread evenly. Refrigerate 1-2 hours until Fudge sets.
    1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1/4 teaspoon salt, pecans
  • Turn out on cutting board and cut into chunks. Store in an airtight container. Serve and Enjoy!
