Place Beef in liner of Crock Pot in a single layer.
1 pound sliced beef chuck
In a separate bowl, combine beef broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil and garlic. Mix well. Pour over beef in crock pot.
1/2 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce, 1 cup beef broth, 2 tablespoons minced garlic, 1 tablespoon sesame oil
Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours until beef is fork tender. Spoon out 2 tablespoons of cooking liquid and put in a small bowl. Add corn starch and mix well to form a thickening agent. Add back into crock pot and mix well. This will thicken the sauce.
2 tablespoons cornstarch
Add in Broccoli florets and mix well to coat with sauce. Cover and cook an additional 30 minutes on high.
