Air Fryer Low Carb Glazed Ham

Ingredients

  • 1 cooked ham 3 pounds
  • 1/2 cup sugar substitute
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon brown mustard
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 3 tablespoons garlic minced
  • 2 teaspoons rosemary
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/4 cup cloves whole
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  • Prep the ham by gently scoring the top diagonally, cross hatching in the other direction. Only do this about 1/4 of an inch down into the surface of the ham.

  • In a small to medium boiler, add the sugar substitute, butter, both mustards, garlic, rosemary, lemon juice and zest and water. Add in salt, pepper and whole garlic cloves. Simmer over medium heat until the sugar dissolves. Increase the temperature and allow for a gentle boil. Boil for a few minutes until it thickens enough to glaze.

  • Remove from the heat, remove the whole cloves and add in the vanilla. Stir well and set aside.

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°. Place the ham in the air fryer, skin(scored) side up. Baste with the glaze and air fry the ham for 30 to 45 minutes. Pausing to glaze about every 10-15 minutes. The ham is done when it reaches an internal temperature of 140°. Rest 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
