Mason Jar Chicken Parmesan Soup is a beautiful and simple way to use those chicken leftovers. Combining a few simple ingredients, we show you how to make this gorgeous portable soup!

Ingredients

  • ½ cup Low Sugar Marinara Sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons Light or reduced fat Italian Dressing
  • 1 cup thinly sliced or spiralized Zucchini or Squash
  • 8 ounces cooked Chicken Breast shredded
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 2 Tablespoons chopped Fresh Basil
  • 2 cups Hot Water or low sodium chicken broth

Instructions

  • In two clean large mouth pint mason jars, layer as follows. ¼ cup of Marinara sauce in each, 1 tablespoon Italian dressing in each. Half of the sliced squash in each, half of the cooked chicken in each, and half of the parmesan and basil.
  • Pour Hot water over all leaving a small space at the head of the jar. Shake and let sit for 5 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
