Ingredients

  • 1- pound thick cut bacon
  • ½ Cup quality maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
  • ½ teaspoon ground pepper
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a sheet pan with
    aluminum foil or use a sheet pan with a rack that has been sprayed with cooking
    spray,
  • Arrange bacon in a single layer, not overlapping,
  • In a small bowl, combine syrup an mustard. Spoon or brush
    over bacon. Bake 20-30 minutes Turn over and spoon or baste on other
    side.
  • Bake another 10 minutes or until done.
  • Remove from oven and sprinkle with brown sugar and black pepper.
  • Rest and cool for 5 to 10 minutes. Enjoy!
