Easy Sausage Balls Recipe

Easy sausage balls are a cinch to make. Spicy ground sausage paired with cheddar cheese, parsley and flour make something as easy to make as it is to eat!

Ingredients

  • ½ teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 & ¼ cup of self rising flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • 1 pound ground mild sausage room temperature
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
  • ½ teaspoon ground cayenne pepper or less
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese room temperature

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. In a medium bowl, mix parsley, flour, salt and peppers.
  • In a large bowl add, cheddar cheese, sausage and butter. Add dry ingredients and mix with hands just until combined. Pinch off or use a small ice cream scoop to take out portions to roll into 1 inch balls. Roll and place on a baking sheet fitted with a baking rack.
  • Bake for 25 minutes until golden brown. Cool and serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
