Ingredients
½cupButtermelted
1.5cupSugar
1 cup for cobbler, ½ cup for top
1cupSelf Rising Flour
pinch of salt
1cupMilk
2cupsPeaches
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 9 x 13 casserole dish with non stick spray.
In a large bowl, mix flour, salt and 1 cup of the sugar well. Add Milk and melted butter.. Mix well just until most of the lumps are out. It may not be a necessarily smooth batter due to equal parts of flour, sugar and milk
Pour batter in prepared dish. Spoon in peaches evenly without stirring. Sprinkle remaining ½ cup of sugar on top.
Bake for 1 hour until bubbly and top is golden brown. Allow to cool before serving.
