Spicy BBQ Shrimp

Spicy BBQ Shrimp is a tasty way to have a Barbecue and a Seafood meal indoors! Spicy seasonings mixed with butter and lemon juice create a delicious cooking environment for shrimp!

Ingredients

  • ½ cup butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon creole seasoning
  • 4 oz beer
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 -2 pounds raw or frozen large shrimp in shells with tails
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce
  • 1 cup sliced green onions

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. In a large skillet or saucepan, melt butter and olive oil. Add lemon juice, garlic, salt, pepper, onion powder, creole seasoning, beer, Worcestershire and hot sauce. Cook on medium heat and bring just to a boil. Remove from heat and set aside.
  • Arrange thawed or raw shrimp in a single layer in a large baking dish. Pour butter sauce over shrimp and sprinkle with green onions.
  • Bake 15 minutes turning half way through cooking time. Serve right away.
