How to Make Instant Pot Hot Dogs

Instant Pot Hot Dogs. So easy but so full of flavor! A grill and party favorite now comes inside the kitchen to show off. Adding smoky and spicy flavors along with an unexpected twist gives these dogs a new trick!

– Hot Dog Franks – Diced Onion – Minced garlic – Chili Powder – Beer

INGREDIENTS

Place Hot dogs on a trivet or just on the bottom, if you prefer in the Instant Pot. Add in garlic, onions, chili powder and beer.

STEP 1

Close lid, seal vent and set to manual or pressure cook for 3 minutes. (1 minute for dogs with no casings)

STEP 2

Once cooking is done, carefully do a quick release with a pair of tongs or oven mitt. Once all pressure has been released, carefully remove lid.

STEP 3

1. Serve and enjoy

STEP 4

Ginger ale is a really good option. You want something sort of hoppy and fizzy. Any soda will work but be careful, you need the fizz and earthy flavors, not so much the sugar! If you don't have soda, water will work just fine.

What can I substitute for the Beer?

Number one, they are easy. Everything always tastes better when someone else cooks it and the Instant Pot is virtually the same. The other delicious fact about these Hot Dogs is that they are full of flavor. The onions, garlic and chili powder give them a smoky, spicy but not hot flavor.
