Easy Beef and Broccoli

Crock Pot Broccoli Beef is a tasty way to get that healthy eating done right. With sweet and spicy notes that accentuate the slow cooked beef, this meal will feel a lot more decadent than it really is.

– 1 head of Broccoli  – Brown sugar – Sliced Beef Chuck – Low sodium soy sauce – Beef broth – Minced garlic – Sesame oil – Cornstarch

INGREDIENTS

Place Beef in liner of Crock Pot in a single layer

STEP 1

Combine beef broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil and garlic. Mix well.

STEP 2

Pour over beef in crock pot

STEP 3

Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours until beef is fork tender.

STEP 4

Spoon out 2 tablespoons of cooking liquid and put in a small bowl. Add corn starch and mix well to form a thickening agent. Add back into crock pot and mix well.

STEP 5

Add in Broccoli florets and mix well to coat with sauce.

STEP 6

Cover and cook an additional 30 minutes on high.

STEP 7

Serve over rice or noodles and enjoy!
