A bowl filled with apple dumplings topped with thick apple slices, delicately seasoned with cinnamon, sits invitingly beside a larger dish containing more of the apple mixture. Prepared like baked apples in the Instant Pot, a spoon rests ready in the bowl on the wooden table's edge.

Ingredients

  • 3 apples peeled, cored and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon raw organic honey
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 3-5 tablespoons water

Instructions

  • Peel and core your apples. I use a handy dandy apple corer that both cores and slices.  For this recipe, I still slice my apples slightly thinner than the corer tool does so they will cook down quick.
    3 apples
  • Add the apples, cinnamon, nutmeg, honey, maple syrup and water to the IP and stir well to coat all of the apples.
1 tablespoon raw organic honey, 1 tablespoon maple syrup, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 1 teaspoon nutmeg, 3-5 tablespoons water
  • Set to manual or pressure cook for 4 minutes. When it beeps, turn it off and QR(quick release). Stir and use whatever way your heart desires.
