Ingredients

  • 2 cups Self Rising Flour
  • 1 cup unsalted Butter softened
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese softened
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • In a bowl, mix flour, salt and cayenne well. Set aside
  • In a large bowl cream butter and cheese with a spatula or hand mixer until combined.
  • Add flour mixture to cheese mixture in batches and mix well until all combined into a dough.
  • Place dough in a piping bag and pipe out 2 to 3 inch straws on an uncreased baking sheet, parchment optional. You can also use a cookie press or form 1 inch balls and press with a fork to a cookie shape.
  • Bake for 13 to 15 minutes cool on a wire rack and enjoy!
