Ingredients
2cupsSelf Rising Flour
1cupunsalted Buttersoftened
2cupsshredded sharp cheddar cheesesoftened
½teaspoonsalt
¼teaspooncayenne pepper
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
In a bowl, mix flour, salt and cayenne well. Set aside
In a large bowl cream butter and cheese with a spatula or hand mixer until combined.
Add flour mixture to cheese mixture in batches and mix well until all combined into a dough.
Place dough in a piping bag and pipe out 2 to 3 inch straws on an uncreased baking sheet, parchment optional. You can also use a cookie press or form 1 inch balls and press with a fork to a cookie shape.
Bake for 13 to 15 minutes cool on a wire rack and enjoy!
