Creamy Crawfish Pasta

Creamy Crawfish Pasta is our take on a traditional New Orleans recipe. Succulent crawfish tails bathed in butter and a dreamy cream sauce is a true delicacy. We show you how to make it a tad healthier using Greek yogurt.

Ingredients

  • 16 oz uncooked Rotini Pasta
  • ½ cup butter
  • 2 Tablespoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon Creole Seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • splash of milk
  • 1 pound of Crawfish tails
  • 8 oz unsweetened Greek low fat yogurt
  • 1 bunch chopped green onion

Instructions

  • Boil pasta according to package directions. Drain and cover,
    set aside.
  • Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add chopped onion and cook for 1 minute. Add salt, pepper, garlic
    and creole seasoning. Add in crawfish tails and cook 2-3 minutes.
  • Remove crawfish and set aside. Add in greek yogurt,
    flour and a splash of milk.Bring to a boil. Simmer until thick
    and add crawfish back in. Lower heat and heat through.
  • Serve over warm pasta and garnish with chopped green onions. Enjoy!
