–Bacon, cooked and crumbled– Red onion, chopped– Minced garlic– Pork and Beans, 28 oz– Smoked Conecuh Sausage, sliced– Ketchup– Apple Cider Vinegar– Brown Sugar, plus a pinch– Maple Syrup– Mustard
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Cook bacon and set aside to crumble when cools. Add to pan and cook onions until soft in bacon grease. Next, add sausage and garlic and cook just until browned.
In a large casserole dish, add beans and cooked onions, garlic and sausage. Add in crumbled bacon, ketchup, brown sugar, maple syrup, ACV and Mustard. Mix well.
These will keep in the refrigerator for up until a week. Reheat in a low 200 degree oven in servings is best. Heat just until warm. These are even good served cold or room temperature.
