Christmas Crunch Snack Mix

Quaker Oatmeal Square Cereal Chopped Pecans Brown Sugar Light Corn Syrup Butter

INGREDIENTS

Preheat oven to 250 degrees Fahrenheit. In a large roasting or baking pan, mix cereal and chopped pecans.

In a microwave safe bowl, combine Butter, brown sugar and corn syrup.

STEP 2

Heat in the microwave 1 and ½ minutes. Carefully remove and stir to combine.

STEP 3

Return to microwave and heat in 30 second intervals, stirring after each time, until boiling.

Step 4

While still boiling, carefully remove from microwave and add salt, vanilla and baking soda. Stir well.

Step 5

Mixture will sort of bubble up and change color.

Step 6

Pour over cereal and pecan mix and stir well to coat.

Step 7

Place in the oven and cook for 1 hour. Stirring every 15 minutes.

Step 8
