Grilled Hawaiian Bacon and Chicken

Grilled Hawaiian Bacon and Chicken is a real treat! Whether you grill it or cook it inside on a grill pan and finish it in the oven, it is a true taste Summer. This sweet treat of chicken and bacon with brown sugar and Southern Flavor seasoning will have you having a party any time you cook it!

Ingredients

  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ cup Pineapple juice
  • ½ cup Orange Juice
  • ¼ cup prepared mustard
  • ½ cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken tenderloins
  • 12 oz package of bacon one slice per tenderloin
  • ½ to 1 teaspoon Southern Flavor Charbroil seasoning

Instructions

  • Mix first 5 ingredients in a small bowl. Reserve about ¼ cup for basting in a separate bowl.
  • Wrap chicken tenderloins with a slice of bacon and secure with toothpicks. Sprinkle on the Southern Flavor Seasoning.Place in a large baking dish and pour marinade on top. Cover with plastic wrap and marinate in the refrigerator 2-6 hours.
  • After marinating, grill on a grill until chicken reaches 165 degrees F OR brown in a grill pan sprayed with cooking spray, 2-3 minutes per side, basing with reserved marinade while cooking. Transfer to a baking sheet.
  • Bake in a 350 degree F oven for 25-3o minutes. Again cooking until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F. Allow to rest for 5-10 minutes, remove toothpicks and enjoy!
