SWEET POTATO PIE

Making sweet potato pie from scratch is so easy and even more delicious. Made from simple ingredients—nothing artificial—this pie will make your dessert famous.

Top it off with homemade whipped cream, and you will be in pie heaven.

INGREDIENTS

Sweet potatoes Sugar Nutmeg Cinnamon Condensed milk

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Mix potatoes, sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon, butter, sweetened condensed milk, eggs, and vanilla in a large bowl.

Use the hand mixer to get it nice and smooth. Run through a sieve if you want to make it even smoother.

Pour the pie mixture into an unbaked pie crust. This recipe will make one whole deep dish, or you can make two shallow dish pies.

Tent the edges of the pie with a ribbon of tinfoil. Carefully place the pie in the preheated oven and bake for 40–50 minutes until the pie is set.

Cool, and serve with whipped cream. Store in the refrigerator. Enjoy!
