How to Make Strawberry Brownies

Pinkie Strawberry Brownies are a fun spin on traditional brownies. Made with a boxed strawberry cake mix and a crispy white icing, they will delight the senses.

–Strawberry cake mix –Eggs – Vegetable or canola oil – Salt – Confectioners sugar – Milk

INGREDIENTS

Mix the cake mix, eggs and oil and salt in a large bowl. Mix well and make sure to get all the clumps out without over mixing.

STEP 1

Spread mixture into a parchment or wax paper lined 8 x 11 or 9x9 baking pan. Using the parchment makes for easy removal from the pan after its cooled.

STEP 2

Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. While the Pinkies are cooking, Mix confectioners sugar and milk, one tablespoon at a time until glaze is smooth and sort of thick.

STEP 3

While the Pinkies are still hot, spread the glaze evenly on top and allow Pinkies to cool and the glaze to harden.

STEP 4

Remove by parchment from pan and cut into squares.
