EASY SWEET POTATO CASSEROLE

Easy Sweet Potato Casserole is a southern classic. This traditional Thanksgiving recipe is so simple, you will want to make it all the time.

This recipe has two components. The casserole itself and the topping are both real things of beauty and can be done so easily.

INGREDIENTS

Sweet Potatoes Eggs Butter Vanilla Milk

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. In a large bowl, mix sweet potatoes, sugar, eggs, butter, milk, and vanilla well.

In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, flour, pecans, butter, and salt well. The mixture will be crumbly.

Prepare a 9x13 baking dish with butter or cooking spray. Pour the casserole mixture into the casserole dish. Sprinkle the topping mixture evenly on top.

Bake at 350 degrees for 25–35 minutes. For a candy-like crust on top, place it under the broiler on medium to high for just a few minutes.

Leaving the oven door open and watching so it doesn't burn. Let it sit for 5–10 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
