The buttered Home
This Homemade Pear Tarte is a little fancy and a whole lot of easy! We use simple ingredients and show you how to add some elegance to a simple dessert!
– 2 ripe Bosc pears, peeled and sliced – 1-3 tablespoons sugar, divided – 2 tablespoons orange marmalade – 2 tablespoons local, raw honey – 1 tablespoon flour – One Pie crust, either homemade or store bought
Assemble pie crust on a spring form pan base. Drop in and secure pan. Mix flour and sugar and sprinkle over pie crust. Arrange peeled, sliced pears on top of pie crust. Bake 40 minutes at 375.
After 40 minutes, melt orange marmalade and honey over low heat until thin. Drizzle over tarte and bake another 15 minutes.
Allow to cool, slice and serve. Goes great with a little ice cream!
