How to make Shrimp Dip with Cream Cheese

 I love “dump and bake” recipes and this one is a real winner! It bakes up in 15-20 minutes and comes out almost too pretty to eat.

The bell pepper and green onions add a punch of color to this pale dip and the chopped shrimp is the icing on the cake.

Quality Tony Chachere’s Creole Seasoning adds the true spice that gives this dip its signature flavor!

 Is your mouth watering yet? Trust me, i make this dip sometimes on a Tuesday night, ballgame or not! This is a great little appetizer you can mix up any time and the quick cooking time is hard to beat!

~ Ingredients ~

  • 1 & 1/2 cups chopped shrimp
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onion
  • 1 bell pepper seeds removed and chopped finely
  • 1/4 cup Mayo
  • 8 oz softened cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 table spoon Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • Parsley for garnish

~ Method ~

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Add shrimp, green onion, bell pepper, mayo, cream cheese, 1/4 cup of pepper jack cheese, lemon juice, Cajun seasoning and Worcestershire. Mix well.
  2. Mix well and pour into a lightly greased casserole dish. Top with remaining cheese and bake for 15-20 min until brown on top. Garnish with a little dried parsley and serve with veggies, tortilla chips or bread to Enjoy!

If fresh are in season, go with that! If not and you have a hankering, get the frozen and thaw and drain before chopping. So many flavors here, you won’t be disappointed either way.
