Tips and Tricks

How can I get chocolate to set faster?

The very same way we set the peanut butter! Place them in the freezer for 10-20 minutes and they will set up quickly.

Can I use melted butter?

I wouldn’t. The peanut butter dough will be too loose. You want your butter and peanut butter to be about the same consistency. A quick way to recover from dough that is too loose or oily is to add about a tablespoon of plain flour.

Will this work with Nutella?

Nutella is a bit oilier than peanut butter. If you do use nutella, I would add about a tablespoon of plain flour to the dough recipe. This also works well when using a natural peanut butter too.

  1. I only have milk chocolate chips. Can I replace the chocolate? Also only have bisquick no flour can I use it? But leave baking soda and baking powder out? Want to also make the lemon coconut cookies but use stevia instead of sugar
