Make cooking Fun with these cute sleeping bear pastries
Some of my fondest memories as a child are from being in the kitchen. Getting to help my Nannie, Aunt Peggy and Momma made me love cooking the way I do! I got my girls helping in the kitchen early. It was fun for them to help roll out BISCUITS and as they got older they wanted to learn more!
Getting your kids interested in cooking doesn’t have to be done in a complicated way. Ours always loved making this ITALIAN CRESCENT ROLL CASSEROLE. You can use store-bought items to make cooking with kids easy and fun! Want another fun and easy cooking project with your kids? Check out this recipe for HOMEMADE ROCK CANDY.

I made these for my grandma because she loves bears. She loved them!! Theyโre so easy and so delicious! I never bake and I had lots of fun making these. I canโt wait to do them again.

I saw this recipe in my Alabama Living magazine this month!
We love our friends at Alabama Living and are honored to be a part of their awesome publication. Glad you are a Coop family member!
The Blue Willow pattern plate used in your picture has a $hit ton of lead in it. Not suitable for eating off of and certainly not for children. This is not a judgement, just an FYI. Thank you for the great recipe!
Can these be made the day before or just put together and kept in fridge, when would you add the egg wash? Right before baking?
They can. I would leave them on a sheet pan and cover with plastic wrap so they don’t dry out. Apply the egg wash right before baking is correct. Happy cooking!
This is absolutely adorable! I am going to make these with my grandson. He is 3 years old and this is such an approachable and fun recipe for a toddler. Thanks for the recipe!
Thank you! That will be so fun!
Turned out so cute! My son loved helping make these.
